About Us
The Research Foundation, formerly the fundraising entity for Research Medical Center, became a separate non-profit charitable organization following the sale of Health Midwest/Research Medical Center to HCA, a for-profit company on April 1, 2003. The Research Foundation is not a private Foundation. The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes; its activities further its charitable purpose within section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Foundation exists for the continued benefit of the community and its improved health status. |
